The Honor Frost Foundation offers a number of bursaries each year to support students and early career researchers from the eastern Mediterranean to attend conferences, workshops and events relevant to the maritime archaeology of the region.
The Foundation makes every attempt to provide at least three months between a bursary being awarded and the start of the event/training, to allow for the Visa process. It is therefore the responsibility of all recipients to begin the Visa application as soon as possible upon being awarded. For the Fieldwork Bursary and the Training Bursary please ensure you allow enough time between applying and the fieldwork/course starting, we recommend around four months to enable a decision to be made and for the Visa process.
The Foundation will also help with letters of support, but cannot action these at the last minute, so please also bear this in mind during the application process.
If you require a letter of support you can also download and fill in this request and email it to email@example.com
