The Honor Frost Foundation offers a number of bursaries each year to support students and early career researchers from the eastern Mediterranean to attend conferences, workshops and events relevant to the maritime archaeology of the region.

The Foundation currently supports bursaries for applicants from Cyprus, Lebanon, Egypt and Syria.

Applicants of different nationalities working in these countries or the broader eastern Mediterranean should contact Dani Newman for advice before applying.

Please ensure you allow enough time between applying and the fieldwork/course starting, we recommend around four months to enable a decision to be made and for the Visa process. It is  the responsibility of all recipients to begin the Visa application as soon as possible upon being awarded.

Applications for these bursaries will be considered monthly, on the 10th of the month, with payment by the last day of the month.
