CIPA Summer School Bursary- 3D Survey and Modeling in Cultural Heritage – Rhodes, Greece (May 19-25, 2024)

HFF is pleased to be offering two scholarships for students to attend the CIPA Summer School 2024 in Rhodes, Greece (May 19-25, 2024). This course offers a unique opportunity for scholars to work in a multicultural training programme and  will include hands on with terrestrial laser scanning, terrestrial photogrammetry and aerial photogrammetry, both data acquisition and processing. The HFF scholarship will pay for the cost of attending the course (including full board and meals), travel to Rhodes, visa costs, and a small per diem for a maxmium of two applicants. Please note that this funding is only available to applicants from Lebanon, Cyprus, Egypt, or Syria.

CIPA Summer School Bursary 2024

  • Please provide more information about you which demonstrates a strong interest and commitment to maritime archaeology.
  • Please provide more information which outlines why you should receive this support, why you are appling to take part in this training and what benefit this brings you specifically as well as your home institution/country. This should be ideally a minimum 250-300 words and include a clear justification for why this training will benefit you, and what you hope to achieve through attending.
  • Please briefly describe any training you have in this area, terrestrial laser scanning, terrestrial photogrammetry and aerial photogrammetry (both data acquisition and processing).
