Bursary to attend the 3rd International Congress on Archaeological Sciences in the eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East (ICAS-EMME 3)
The Foundation is offering four bursaries of £850 each, for students and researchers from the HFF region to attend the 3rd International Congress on Archaeological Sciences in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East (ICAS-EMME 3). The conference will be held in Cyprus from the 14th to the 18th March 2022.
This international congress aims to highlight recent advances in natural, material and computational science applications to archaeology and cultural heritage in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East, and to provide an international academic forum for dissemination of results of current research in these fields in the region. The congress is addressed to the international scientific community of archaeologists, archaeological & heritage scientists, and researchers applying natural, material and computational science methods to archaeology and cultural heritage in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East.

The bursary is to cover the cost of flights, visas, accommodation and subsistence, the conference registration fee will be waived for successful applicants.
In order to apply you must;
- Be from the HFF region (Cyprus, Egypt, Lebanon or Syria) or an early career researcher working in the HFF region.
- Be planning to submit a paper/poster at the conference, the deadline for abstracts is the 15th November 2021 – *now extended to the end of November.
- Submit a full report on the event if successful.
