Associate Professor Maritime Archaeology

Supported by the Honor Frost Foundation, the University of Southampton are seeking to appoint an individual with an established national and international reputation within the field of the Maritime Archaeology of the eastern Mediterranean at Associate Professor level (appointment at Lecturer level might also be considered dependent on the candidate’s experience). The successful candidate will enhance the international reputation of the Department of Archaeology within Maritime Archaeology; will teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level; and be expected to undertake leadership, management and engagement activities.The post is offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 7 years. The appointee will receive an annual research support package of £20,000 per annum.
