Bursary to attend the NAS online course: Promoting Maritime Heritage Through Social Media – 5th December

The Foundation is working with the Nautical Archaeology Society to fund up to ten students or researchers to attend the Social Media course on the 5th December 2020. Priority will be given to those from the HFF region (Cyprus, Lebanon, Egypt and Syria), however, participants from outside the region will also be considered so long as you can demonstrate that your current research interests are connected to the objectives of the Honor Frost Foundation.

Up to ten HFF funded places are available on the course, in order to receive one of the funded places please complete the below application form by the 29th October 2020. You will then be contacted by email to confirm whether your application is successful and your email address will be passed to the NAS to provide you with the attendance details. 

Please note: WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN THE ONLINE COURSE
A computer or tablet (phone screens are a bit small to look at for the whole day) with a good internet connection is essential. A built-in or external webcam and microphone are optional. Before the course you will receive an invitation to the online course session which will be run through GoToMeeting. This is an online video conferencing programme that can be run directly through the internet or you get better connection if you download the small programme – it only takes a minute to do.

After the course you will be asked to submit a short summary report to the Foundation outlining what you got from the course, details about this will be provided with the confirmation email.
