The Honor Frost Foundation supports projects under three general categories: Regional Research, Capacity Building, and Developing the Discipline.

Small grant funding is for projects under £10,000.

Medium grant funding is for projects between £10,000-£70,000.

Large grant funding is for projects over £70,000 and requires an initial expression of interest application.

Additionally, we offer a wider British Academy Small Research Grant to support maritime archaeology a whole, a dedicated Archive Fellowship to the Maritime Archaeology Special Collection in Southampton, and an Open Access publication award.
