people surveying a harbour structure in a built up area of the eastern MeditteraneanWe would like to invite you to take part in the following survey on the impacts of maritime archaeology projects in the Eastern Mediterranean. The survey – part of the research undertaken by the Dr Arturo Rey da Silva, HFF Scholar, at the University of Edinburgh- is addressed to people undertaking Marine Cultural Heritage (MCH) research and management activities in the eastern Mediterranean, particularly those financed by the Honor Frost Foundation (HFF), although not exclusively. It will gather quantitative and qualitative data on the impact of maritime archaeology projects in the Region and the ways they are financed, evaluated, and monitored. It will also contribute to understand the potential relation between maritime archaeology research outputs and social, economic, and environmental challenges.

You can find the survey questions in this LINK. The survey should take around 15-20 minutes to complete. Feel free to forward this link to your networks and other relevant people.

If you have any queries, do not hesitate to contact Dr Arturo Rey da Silva at arturo.rey@ed.ac.uk

We encourage you to participate in this survey as it may help us improve the way HFF supports the discipline in the region.
