Lucy Semaan, who leads our HFF Lebanon team was recently invited to host a special roundtable discussion as part of the University of Helsinki’s Global Conversations in Maritime Archaeology, with Katerina Velentza. The focus of this one was Women in Maritime Archaeology. Katerina and Lucy spoke to Clara Fuquen, Crystal El Safadi and Maii Ghanem about their personal accounts on the issues they encountered while advancing their careers in the field of maritime archaeology. To mark International Women’s Day we also caught up with Lucy to discuss this as part of our Dive & Dig podcast.
