The HFF Grant Committee in its evaluation of the applications places great importance on your objective assessment. The construction of this assessment form follows the British Academy’s standard that has been designed to facilitate a structured response and consistent assessment of the relevant merits of the projects.
As a referee we ask you to prepare a supporting document that addresses the following headings:
- Indicates the importance and significance of the project.
- Assesses the ability of the applicant to effectively carry out the research proposal.
- Assesses the feasibility of the research programme covering any issues with methodology and timescale.
- Comments on the adequacy of the overall budget for the research proposal.
Having prepared this supporting document (ideally as a pdf. or Microsoft Word.doc NOT .docx format.) and clearly labelled it with your name, the project and applicants name, now please complete this brief online form and follow the instructions for attaching and sending your completed reference to us by 15 April (for the April Grant round) or 15 October (for the October Grant round). Thank you.
