The winner of the HFF Under the Mediterranean 2017 conference poster competition were A. Zavitsanou and D. Sakellariou of the Institute of Oceanography, Hellenic Centre for Marine Research. The runner up was Moshe Bram of the Department of Maritime Civilisations and the Leon Recanati Institute for Maritime Studies, University of Haifa. The posters were judged primarily on content and appropriate poster layout and how effectively they communicated the information.
