The Foundation provided support for the first global planning meeting of the IOC Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, from the 13th – 15th May at the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen.

Dr Antony Firth from the HFF Steering Committee attended the meeting along with several other maritime archaeologists from across the world, ensuring that underwater cultural heritage is included in the context of the UN Ocean Decade
