To mark the arrival of the Honor Frost Archive at the University of Southampton, the Archives and Manuscripts at Hartley Library are holding a drop-in session on Friday 1 June 12.00-16.00. The session will provide a great opportunity to view some of the highlights of this extensive collection and to find out more about a pioneer in the field of maritime archaeology. HFF is delighted to have inspired and co-sponsored this recent, highly successful event. It was held at the Ioannou Centre, University of Oxford and HFF scholars played a major role in its organisation. Read a summary of the event.
As part of its ongoing commitment to ensuring the widest possible dissemination of research to a global readership, the Honor Frost Foundation is delighted to announce the new HFF Open Access Grant.
The grant is intended to support authors who would otherwise not be able to publish their research as Open Access articles and will cover the article processing charges (APCs) often required by many journals and publications.
Applications are invited from those publishing peer-reviewed articles directly related to maritime archaeology research in the eastern Mediterranean.
